Welcome to the

LongLife FAQ section

Here we have gathered answers to the most frequently asked questions about preventive health initiatives, health programs and cooperation with organizations. We hope this information will help you better understand how we work and how we can support the health of employees at your company. If you cannot find the answer to your question, feel free to contact our team directly.

The sign-up process is tailored to each client's needs and depends on their preferences. The client/employer can manage the sign-ups themselves and share the list with the team performing the tests, or LongLife can take care of the entire sign-up process. In that case we use an online tool, shared as a link, where anyone interested can choose and book a specific time slot on a given day of the event. To protect users' privacy, the tool does not allow the person signing up to view the list of other participants.

The timeline for a preventive health event depends on the type of tests performed, the time needed for internal communication with potential participants and, of course, on the season, as the workload of our teams varies. It is worth emphasizing, however, that we are able to start an event as soon as 72 hours after the order is placed.

Whether any preparation is needed depends strictly on the type of tests, but we make every effort to compose the test sets so that they disrupt the usual daily routine as little as possible, and in most cases no special preparation is required. Bearing in mind that an event often takes place over the course of several or even a dozen hours, we do not want to require participants to fast all day, for example. If, in consultation with the client, we carry out a test that requires special preparation, we provide detailed instructions on the recommended procedure.

Depending on the type of tests performed, we assign a team of experienced medical professionals, including physicians, nurses and paramedics.

It depends on the type of test - in the case of venous blood samples analyzed in an external laboratory, patients access their results via an online portal, following the instructions provided, usually within no more than 24 hours of the sample being taken.

For tests performed with point-of-care analyzers, the results are available after about 2 minutes and are shared with the participant during their visit to the medical station, together with the necessary commentary and recommendations.

For ultrasound examinations, the report is prepared by the physician immediately after the examination and handed to the patient in paper form during the same visit, together with any recommendations.

In the case of ultrasound examinations and tests performed with point-of-care devices, the results are shared with the patient during the same visit, together with commentary and any further recommendations.

For tests sent to a laboratory, our offer includes the option of organizing a webinar during which we discuss potential abnormalities and their clinical significance, allowing participants to individually identify any irregularities, and we provide appropriate recommendations for further steps. To protect the confidentiality of participants' medical data, individual test results are not discussed publicly during the webinar.

The employer has no access to employees' test results and does not receive such data. All health information is shared with the patient only. In most cases, unless an employee consciously decides otherwise, the employer is not directly informed who took part in the tests, receiving only aggregate information about the number of tests performed. The report for the employer/organizer is prepared in a way that makes it impossible to identify participants or attribute any diagnoses to a specific person. The work of the medical staff is covered by standard professional confidentiality.

Unless individual arrangements state otherwise, the client is only asked to designate a room/area on the premises covered by the event, ensuring the greatest possible privacy and access to electricity. The equipment and organization of the testing station are the responsibility of LongLife, which has all the equipment necessary for this purpose.

Dates and times are arranged individually according to the client's needs, and based on our experience to date we know how important a flexible approach to project timelines is. Tests take place during participants' working hours and, depending on the nature of the business, e.g. shift work, we are able to carry out tests 7 days a week between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., subject to prior arrangement of the details during the ordering process.

The client/organizer/employer receives a final report summarizing the course of the project, including, among other things, the number and type of tests performed along with a summary of the outcomes, presented in a way that makes it impossible to attribute medical data to specific participants, in line with the highest standards of care for the confidentiality of participants' data.

One of the main principles of our work is to minimize the client's loss of time and money, so in most cases a participant's break from work does not exceed 15 minutes.

Our tests are selected to minimize lost working time and to allow participants to safely carry out their professional duties, so a participant can work right up until the test and return to their duties immediately after it ends.

A Coordinator is assigned to every event - they arrange the details beforehand and remain available both while the event is under way and after the service has been completed. This is one dedicated person who stays in contact with the employer and employees on substantive, logistical and operational matters.

We always provide substantive, informational and marketing/graphic materials to support internal communication. All materials are personalized and their form is agreed individually with the client.
